Our Missions & Programmes
In-Orbit Demonstration, scheduled for 2026 in collaboration with HEX20
OhmSpace develops next-generation resistojet propulsion systems that redefine satellite mobility. Our high-thrust, high-efficiency thrusters use safe, low-cost, and widely available propellants—eliminating the need for hazardous chemicals without compromising performance. Designed for both small satellites and GEO platforms, our systems enable faster orbit-raising, reduce collision risk by up to 10x, and accelerate revenue for large constellations. OhmSpace is building propulsion for a safer, more agile, and sustainable space infrastructure.

Upstream, Downstream
OhmSpace is pioneering next-generation resistojet propulsion with a novel 3D-printed resistive element, capable of enduring thousands of high-temperature cycles—surpassing typical customer mission lifetimes. Our resistojet technology supports a wide range of propellants, including water, ammonia, xenon, krypton, and other inert gases, offering unmatched operational flexibility.
Our flagship product, STAR-Water-nano, is a plug-and-play, ultra-compact propulsion system designed for both nano/microsatellite missions in LEO and secondary propulsion needs on GEO telecommunications satellites. With a low-pressure tank, modular architecture, and streamlined AIT requirements, it ensures fast integration and reduced mission costs.
Set for its first in-orbit demonstration in Q1 2026, STAR-Water-nano offers high performance with:
Delivering up to 10x faster ROI than Hall-effect thrusters and 100x quicker maneuvers than FEEP, our technology marks a step change in electric propulsion performance and integration simplicity.
