Founded in 1997, Virtualabs is a company operating in the field of Radar and EW. Virtualabs began its activities in developing software simulators and conducting academic courses for several MODs Agencies and for Companies all around the world working in the Aerospace, Defence and Security (ADS) sector.

Later, Virtualabs started in designing and manufacturing innovative systems to satisfy peculiar requirements coming for some Governmental Customers and MODs Agencies for R&D activities.

At the same time, Virtualabs was assigned by some Navies to modernize their legacy Radar and EW systems by equipping them with new techniques and technologies. Virtualabs was also commissioned to develop a satellite payload for electromagnetic observation activities, today flying around the globe.

Nowadays, Virtualabs develops own Radar and EW systems for Naval, Land, Airborne, and Satellite applications, all characterized by the exploitation of the use of new technologies as desired by its founder, Dr Filippo Neri, author of books on Defence Systems, very popular and translated in different languages.

Virtualabs designs its system thanks to a group of brilliant and young engineers led by a management rich in long experience in the design and development of Radar and EW systems most of them are still in service both nationally and internationally.

Located on the outskirts of Rome along Via Tiburtina, in the so-called Tiburtina Valley and not far from the Italian giants operating in the ADS field, Virtualabs makes use of a cluster of small, highly qualified companies that create the assemblies conceived and designed by it and then take care of it of final assembly, acceptance tests, delivery and after-sales activities with customers.
